Position: Food Services Director

Salary: Up to 70k

Responsibilities:

As our Food Services Director, your responsibilities will include:

• Leading the Food Services Department with excellence, overseeing its programs and activities.
• Collaborating on the development and maintenance of food services policies and procedures.
• Crafting job descriptions and conducting performance evaluations for food services personnel.
• Effectively communicating departmental policies and procedures to all stakeholders.
• Providing guidance to the food services staff to ensure compliance with standards.
• Managing Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDSs) for hazardous chemicals and ensuring staff's awareness.
• Handling administrative duties such as reporting and equipment/supply management.
• Developing and maintaining a library of tested standard recipes.
• Preparing reports and recommendations for the Administrator as needed.
• Timely submission of accident and incident reports to Human Resources.
• Addressing departmental complaints and personnel grievances.
• Assisting in quality improvement efforts and collaborating on discharge planning.
• Participating in facility surveys and inspections.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Food Services Director in a Nursing Home.
• Proficiency in therapeutic diets.
• CDM Certification.
• COVID-19 vaccination is mandatory.
