Associate General Counsel jobs in Nashville, TN

Latitude is working with a health insurance company looking to add an Associate General Counsel to their lean in-house legal team. This role will support the internal business team, advising on a wide range of issues and drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial and insurance contracts. The successful candidate will be someone who enjoys working with a collaborative team and has exceptional communication and organizational skills. Experience with commercial contracts, and knowledge of the healthcare and/or insurance industries is ideal.

This is a full-time position, in-office in Columbia, Tennessee.

Requirements for the Associate General Counsel:

• 5-7 years of experience practicing law
• Experience with commercial contracts and knowledge of the insurance and/or healthcare industries is ideal
• Excellent analytical, written, verbal and interpersonal skills
• Licensed to practice law in Tennessee
• Outstanding professional references

Compensation:
Pay: The annualized base pay for this position ranges from $130,000 - $150,000. In addition to salary, this position is eligible for a bonus.
