Associate General Counsel jobs in Reno, NV

• Process asset transfers by means of Automated Customer Account Transfers (ACATs) and non-ACATs
  • Differentiate investment types, review customer documents, reconcile accuracy of receipt and delivery of assets, research inquiries, and contact contra firms;
  • Maintain assets in accounting system, perform third-party account set-up, and process account applications for all outside accounts;
  • Obtain and update cost basis information for accounts;
• Participate in the Trust Investment Committee and Dunham Asset Allocation Program Committee;
• Strengthen and nurture ongoing relationships with high net worth contacts, consistently exceeding service expectations through Dunham’s Private Client Group in Reno, NV;
• Collaborate with Dunham’s Business Development Team assisting in the onboarding and implementation of new trust relationships and assets;
• Review and update asset allocations and investment objectives as directed for Dunham asset allocation program;
• Assist in allocation rebalances, customer and financial advisor reviews;
• Manage ongoing private equity relationships including capital calls, distribution notices, market value updates, and registration changes;
• Perform asset reviews of outside accounts:
  • Establish and maintain ongoing fiduciary oversight of delegated investments through Orion data aggregation
  • Review and compare asset allocation versus investment objectives and investment policies
  • Collect and review performance for outside accounts;
• Perform other tasks and projects as assigned.                                                                           

• College degree in a finance-related field or equivalent industry experience;
• Two or more years or experience in a financial services environment with considerable understandings of investments and securities
• Interest and knowledge of the capital markets;
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, intermediate Excel skills;
• Salesforce and/or other customer relationship management (CRM) software experience;
• Obtain necessary licenses for trading and investment advice (Series 7 &  Series 66) within a specified timeframe, company will sponsor and provide training materials.

• Passed Securities Industry Essentials® (SIE®) Exam
• Experience as an assistant or client service role in a financial advisor office environment (e.g. Client Services Associate, Operations Analyst)
• Mind mapping Software Experience Creative software experience (e.g. Xmind)
