Being an Associate Housing Director reviews and updates of all housing policies to ensure the safety of residents. May also help maintain an off-campus housing program. Additionally, Associate Housing Director typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a Housing Director. The Associate Housing Director supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be an Associate Housing Director typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. About this opportunity:
This position is responsible for accepting, processing, and monitoring residents staying in the shelter overnight.
Key responsibilities:
- Monitors the activity of residents on an assigned shift ensuring safety, security, and compliance to house rules.
- Maintains accurate and complete records and logs containing pertinent information.
- Ensures that lodge/shelter is maintained in a neat and proper order.
- High school diploma or G.E.D. and
- One year experience performing security or social service work preferred.
- Or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
