Position and Primary Responsibilities
PHC is seeking a Director of Development to join the organization! This is a newly created role within the organization and a critical member of the Executive Leadership team, reporting to the Executive Director. The primary responsibility of the Development Director is to meet the organization’s annual fundraising goal and to build long-term growth strategies through grant management, donor engagement, and fundraising. This position is responsible for creating marketing and outreach strategies across a diversified supporter base of individual donors, businesses, and foundations that cultivate donors at all levels of giving. This person will oversee all private donor revenue for the organization.
This position will have administrative and grant writing support and will collaborate with other teams within the organization to effectively translate the work and mission to stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience running effective major gift and annual fund programs, possess solid project management and data analysis skills to ensure the implementation of effective systems and processes. They will represent the organization in the community, building relationships and navigating government agencies and moving the organization forward to reach more of the people we serve.
