Description

The Associate Director of Business Systems and IT Infrastructure is responsible for providing technical leadership and solution architecture/customization support for the applications used at Tyber Medical, in the areas of ERP (Epicor), Business Intelligence (Power BI), and other emerging technologies. Suitable candidates also are required to have strong project management skills and oversee outsourced IT infrastructure management in areas of networking, IT hardware, security, and disaster recovery.  This role requires working closely with the business organization in understanding their needs, architecting the appropriate systems solutions, managing their delivery, and overseeing sustaining support operations. The ideal candidate should be able to manage multiple projects/enhancements delivery simultaneously in a highly regulated industry, such as Medical Device or Pharmaceuticals. This position is based out of our HQ location in Bethlehem, PA.

Requirements

• Develop and manage enterprise business systems team supporting ERP and other business critical applications.
• Ensure adherence/implementation of industry best practices for developing and sustaining enterprise applications.
• Project planning and estimation; and developing (internal) project proposals.
• Oversee application design/architecture for systems solutions to meet various business requirements, primarily in the areas of ERP and business intelligence areas.
• Manage delivery of key projects and enhancement requests.
• Stakeholder management/engagement.
• Talent/capability development of the business systems team.
• Manage third party service provider to effectively lead the company’s IT Infrastructure needs including, security and continuity planning
• Perform other duties as required.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent with 7 years of IT leadership experience and total of 15 years of experience in IT field. CSM, PMP certification preferred.
• Extensive experience architecting customized but scalable enterprise applications in a highly regulated industry such as Medical Device or Pharmaceuticals.
• Strong experience with implementation and support of ERP’s, Business Intelligence, and other applications. Highly prefer significant experience and working knowledge of Epicor ERP.
• Experience working with functional domains such as finance, supply chain, manufacturing, engineering, quality assurance and business development teams.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Working knowledge of C#, VBA, MSSQL, and SSRS
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
