Associate Medical Director jobs in Burlington, VT

Basic Qualifications:

Education and Experience

• Medical Degree from an accredited medical school and subsequent residency training program or degree from Physician Assistant school or Nurse Practitioner School
• Two years clinical experience working in an ambulatory care 
• Leadership experience of other clinical staff including providers

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Demonstrated passion for representing and carrying out the mission and principles of CHCB. 
• Proven leadership skills including the ability to effectively develop, lead and supervise physicians and advance practice providers.
• Ability to utilize cognitive-behavioral and dialectical interventions in support of OB patients
• Ability to foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration, and the ability to inspire and motivate others
• An affinity for working with a culturally, economically and politically diverse patient population. 
• Good communication and organizational skills. 
• Ability to be a leader among the clinical staff in regard to quality patient care, documentation, customer service and EMR/EHR use. 

Licensure, Certification, or Other Requirements

•  Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine/Pediatrics 
•  License to practice medicine in the State of Vermont 
•  CPR certified
