Purpose: The HR Director manages the Human Resources functions for the organization. An HR Manager and Recruiting Manager report to the HR Director. The HR Director reports to the Chief Human Resources Officer and supports the CHRO in developing policy, benefit and compensation plans, reports, and supporting compliance with state and federal employment laws.
Responsibilities & Duties
Responsible for human resources functions of the organization, including recruiting, onboarding, performance, management of employee information, personnel policies, employee benefit programs, and development of pay scales
Oversees clinical staff credentialing and the provider privileging process
Prepares regular reports required by governmental entities or requested by third-party organizations or other departments
Supervises payroll processes, together with the Financial Coordinator
Develop key performance indicators for Human Resources department, and support HR Manager and Recruiting Manager in meeting those measures
Lead HR Manager and Recruiting Manager in continuous process improvement
Model, support, and enforce Cahaba Medical Care’s Core Cultural Competencies
Qualifications & Requirements (Skills, Knowledge, & Experience)
Bachelor’s degree in human resources management; or at least 10 years experience in human resources management
Experience in project management, leading an HR department or team
Experience in a medical clinic, hospital, or FQHC is preferred but not required
Disciplined sensitivity regarding confidential information
Collaborative disposition
Highly skilled in navigating high stakes conversations regarding accountability and other issues with sensitivity and emotional intelligence, as well as coaching others on the same
Possesses a strong work ethic and dedication to creating excellent work product
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
Advanced skill and proficiency with Google Suite or Microsoft Office, HRIS (ADP preferred), benefit administration, talent acquisition, and performance management softwares
