Additionally, Associate Producer - Web may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Associate Producer - Web supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Associate Producer - Web typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Under general supervision of the Director of Strategic Communication, the Information Technology Technical Associate I (Web Specialist) provides technical website support in the preliminary design, layout and functionality of the University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria website while providing support to UICOMP units including education, research, administrative, and clinical areas. Working collaboratively with the IT Technology Associate II (Webmaster), the Web Specialist will provide preliminary analysis of data, coordinate content, evaluate and implement the appropriate web-based technologies and systems in meeting the interests of the UICOMP units while being mindful of the target audience. This person will assist in monitoring and evaluating Search Engine Optimization as well as monitor web analytics and make preliminary recommendations to meet marketing objectives.
