The JR Associate Brand Manager will play a critical role in accelerating our growth/share with our brands, specifically working on Pet Specialty, Grocery, Club and Mass business with responsibility to support Product Innovation, Pricing, Promotion Planning, Advertising and Distribution initiatives.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop, maintain, & evolve our brands for Kent Pet Group - this role works with the Brand Team and cross functional teams to identify, plan and execute projects and priorities with excellence
- Help shape/execute the marketing plan, as well as deliver the annual budget and business plan.
- Provide support for marketing analytics including competitive tracking and POS (IRI/Nielsen) data analysis. Develop, track and report on KPI’s. Make fact based decisions and recommendations.
- Serve as key contact for Sales Team on branded product information and marketing communications, including ad-hoc requests
- Manage branded materials, as well as the Product Review Platform
- Product Spec management and image file maintenance
- GDSN Management and Execution; New Item Set Up
- Manage and create consumer facing materials, including POS
- Manage consumer loyalty program, as well as trial driving initiatives (coupons, IRCs)
- Drive competitive intelligence (new products, marketing initiatives, pricing,etc)
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3 years related work experience
- Skilled in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Products. Prefer POS platform understanding
- Understanding of Syndicated or Custom Point of Sale Systems (Examples: IRI, Nielsen).
- Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to synthesize data into action.
- Demonstrated passion for consumer packaged goods and brand management.
- As a leader of internal and external teams the Jr Associate Brand Manager must be an excellent communicator and leader of people with the ability to champion brand plans, priorities and strategies effectively.
