Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Asst. Professor - Accounting typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and contributes to research in a specialized field.     General Description

    College of Business is seeking qualified adjuncts to teach undergraduate courses: Introduction to Financial Accounting and Corporate Taxation for the Fall 2024 semester. Courses are in-person and taught at the Forest Grove campus.

     

     

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Provides instruction and support to undergraduate students registered for the courses.
    • Communicates consistently and effectively with COB administration and Faculty Chair
    • Upholds the vision, mission and values of the University and College of Business
    • Priority will be given to candidates who contribute to the diversity of the student body served

    Qualifications


    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Master's degree in Business/Accounting
    • Successful completion of federal background check and any other background checks as required by the site.
    • Eligible to work in the United States

     

     

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

    • CPA licensure
    • 2-5 years of teaching/industry experience
