Automotive Accounting Assistant

• Work with the Finance Manager to prepare contracts to send to the bank. Making sure all required documents are correct to get funding from the bank.
• Prepare tag and title work for processing and work with the DMV.
• Stocking in new and used vehicles.
• Assist HR with payroll processing. Verify employees through E-Verify.
• Assist the Warranty clerk with payment processing.
• Assist the BDC department when needed.
• Work closely with the Controller to make sure accounting office is running smoothly
• Help in other departments as needed.

• 
  Accounting experience is required
• Must be a self-starter
• DMV experience is a plus!
• Must be computer savvy
• Must have good phone skills – a “people person”
• High School Diploma
• Sound knowledge of cash management principles and account balancing.
• Knowledge of accounting, bookkeeping and mathematics for data entry assignments.
• Must be able to multitask without losing focus
• Must be able to manage internal/external relations successfully.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Ability to answer and transfer phone calls.
• Excellent customer relations and service.
