Onsite Position-Largo, Florida

Mann Wireless does the important work of making cell phones and emergency responder radios work in buildings. Mann Wireless has been in business for over 20 years and has about 40 employees distributed across locations in Largo, Florida, Nashville, Tennessee and Albany, New York.

This position offers a friendly, casual, onsite office environment with excellent benefits, including 20 PTO days/year, 8 paid holidays, health, dental, vision, life, ltd, voluntary short-term disability and a 401k plan with 3% company contribution. Hours are 9:00-5:00 with a paid 30 minute lunch.

This position is highly diversified and is at least 70% tactical in nature (you will be focused on process and execution versus strategy). You will not have employees reporting to you. Specific areas of focus will be further defined upon hire based on your skillset and company need.

• Analyze financial data and prepare financial statements and reports, including but not limited to WIP (Work in Progress), projections, job performance and branch performance reports, to evaluate the progress of ongoing and future work, help manage budgets, and provide insights into the company's financial performance
• Support management of ComputerEase Construction accounting system
• Support the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory entities, tax laws, and regulations.
• Audits workflow to assure that all accounting transactions are appropriately authorized
• Process weekly payroll, including certified payrolls
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory entities, tax laws, and regulations
• Support the identification and management of insurance requirements
• Supports contract review
• Supports corporate compliance processes
• Manage employee benefits, including 401k
• Support compensation and performance management processes
• HR compliance lead (multi-state)
• Manage employee onboarding, discipline and off-boarding processes
• Manage time and attendance, inclusive of NYS PFL, short-term disability and related leaves
• Support day-to-day operational needs which may include accounts payable, expense management, vendor management, and payroll processes
• Streamline, maintain & improve processes and internal controls
• Interact and communicate effectively with the Accounting team, other internal/external parties, and customers

Requirements

• BS in Accounting, Finance or related or comparable experience
• 5 years of construction, engineering or related accounting/finance experience
• Experience with job costing
• Experience automating processes, reporting, etc.
• Experience with a construction ERP solution
• 5 years of payroll experience
• 3 years of HR compliance experience
• Ability to automate and make processes more efficient.
• Excellent excel and reporting skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge ComputerEase, Sage, Foundation, Deltek or related Construction Accounting ERP solutions
• GSA or other Federal contract experience desired
