The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh (UWO) Department of Counseling and Human Services invites applications for a full-time tenure-track faculty position in school counseling at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor.
OUR DEPARTMENT Our department is comprised of three Master's-level, CACREP-accredited programs (School Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and Student Affairs and College Counseling). Additionally, we have a non-CACREP-accredited emphasis in Clinical College Counseling. We are proud of the fact that we are the oldest CACREP-accredited program in Wisconsin, having first earned accreditation in 1992. As a department, we believe strongly in the relationships that we cultivate and model for students. We emphasize developing counseling practitioners who are reflective, self-aware, creative, and adaptable. We intentionally develop classroom learning environments that are steeped in experiential learning, and that promote both personal and professional growth.
