Engineering - Architecture Drawing and Design Teacher

The Empower College & Career Center (EmpowerC3) is an educational partnership with businesses in Jackson County and the surrounding area. The Empower Center engages students in career relevant learning experiences. Through partnerships with business and industry, higher education and our community, students work toward goals that help them reach their college and career objectives. Some of these goals include completing pathways and earning credentials. Students will leave high school with authentic experiences that will help them define and refine their choices after high school – in college, a career, or in the military.

Course Summary:
Introduces students to the basic terminology, concepts, and principles of architectural design. Emphasis is placed on house designs, floor plans, roof designs, elevations (interior and exterior), schedules, and foundations.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree


Preferred Qualifications:
Degree in Engineering, Technology, or related field
Previous experience in Drafting, architecture, industrial design, civil engineering or related fields

Employment Terms:
190 day contracted year
Annual Salary based on degree level and years of creditable experience
