Foit-Albert Associates, Architecture, Engineering and Surveying, P.C., is an award-winning multidisciplinary architecture, engineering, environmental, and land surveying consulting firm with offices in Buffalo, Albany, Queens, and New York City, New York.

Foit-Albert Associates is seeking a full time Administrative Assistant with experience working in a professional office. Working in-person in our Jamaica, Queens, NY, office, this position requires efficiency in multi-tasking, organizational skills, problem solving skills, confidentiality, excellent communication and customer service and time management skills. Note the office will move to midtown by the end of 2024.

Duties:

• reception
• answer and redirect phone calls
• process incoming and outgoing mail and express packages
• order office and janitorial supplies
• data entry
• administrative support across the organization
• support marketing and communication efforts
• internet research
• email blasts
• maintain calendars and schedules
• event and meeting follow up
• light office cleaning
• hours are 8:30 am to 5:00 pm with 1/2 hour unpaid lunch

Qualifications:

• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook
• Adobe Acrobat a plus
• Customer service attitude and professional appearance
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Attentive to details
• Ability to be resourceful and proactive
• Eligible to work in the United States
