The Department of Ecology, Evolution and Marine Biology at the University of California, Santa Barbara, (EEMB; www.eemb.ucsb.edu) invites applications for a pool of qualified lecturers to teach courses in Ecology, Evolution and Physiology for upcoming openings within the department. Screening of applicants is ongoing and will continue as needed. The number of positions varies from quarter to quarter, depending on the needs of the department. Main duties will include teaching first courses in general ecology and evolution, with the possibility of occasional upper-division teaching opportunities. The University is especially interested in candidates who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community through research, teaching, and service as appropriate to the position.
