The chemistry department at Claflin University offers an ACS accredited undergraduate program and is equipped with state-of-the-art analytical instruments. The successful applicant will be responsible for teaching general chemistry classes and advanced classes in biochemistry/polymer chemistry/organic chemistry/inorganic chemistry. The successful applicant will be expected to attract funding from external agencies, maintain an undergraduate research program in chemistry, serve on departmental and faculty committees, and perform other related academic duties.
