Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Asst. Professor - Chemistry typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and contributes to research In a specialized field.     Job Summary/Basic Function
    Tutor WSU students in Chemistry at the Ogden Learning Center as part of the Learning Support department. Tutoring is done on an individual appointment and/or drop-in basis. Availability for appointments is determined by the tutor. We require and provide training in tutoring techniques.

    **This is a pooled position. Applicants are selected from the pool as positions become available. After a period of time the pool will expire and applicants will be notified.

    Required Qualifications
    • Must be a WSU student.
    • Must have earned a B or better in the courses you propose to tutor.
    • A strong working knowledge of the subject matter you will be tutoring.
    • Good listening, communication, and interpersonal skills.

    Preferred Qualifications
    • Ability to tutor many different courses.
