Professor - Civil Engineering provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Asst. Professor - Civil Engineering typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and contributes to research In a specialized field. Job Duties
- Support/advise foundation testing field services
- Create/develop testing methods, review quality and inspection process for foundation testing
- Complete foundation testing maps, review, analysis, and reporting of results
- Prepare calculation packages, technical reports and letters
- Participates in conceptual foundation design meetings with other engineering staff to reflect product design intent.
- Interfaces directly with the sales team, construction group, engineering team, and customers as needed to provide technical support
Position Requirements:
- Geotechnical/Construction foundation experience preferred
- BS in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering preferred or Associates degree in engineering related field with equivalent experience
- Project Management experience
Additional Preferred Skills:
- Self-motivated
- Detail Oriented
- Willingness to learn new skills & processes
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office products focusing on Word & Excel
- Strong verbal and written skills with working knowledge of AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
