Professor - Civil Engineering provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Asst. Professor - Civil Engineering typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and contributes to research In a specialized field. Engineering Intern will be exposed to the many facets of municipal engineering.The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university with an emphasis in Civil Engineering, or a closely aligned field.  The successful candidate should also possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work with contractors.  Computer proficiency is also necessary. Basic knowledge of Autocad or Microstation, GIS, and/or SketchUp is a plus but not required.
     
    A valid driver's license is required.  Outdoor work, occasionally in adverse weather conditions, is also required.  

     
    The internship offer is contingent upon the candidate's successful completion of a criminal background check and a pre-employment medical exam, including a drug screen.
