Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Asst. Professor - Computer Science typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and contributes to research In a specialized field.     Responsibilities:
    • Process transcript requests.
    • Generate enrollment verifications and degree verifications.
    • Provide information for licensure certifications.
    • Manage the walk-up traffic at the windows.
    • Share responsibility for answering the phone for the Registrar's Office.
    • Manage the email for the Registrar's Office.
    • Perform beginning of semester Banner processes for setting up each semester for registration.
    • Assist with maintaining the Registrar's Office web page content by updating information or sending updated information to university communications/marketing.
    • Prepare outgoing mail for pick up and distribute incoming mail.
    • Assist in curriculum check sheet updates.
    • Assist in updating MS community college articulation information.
    • Assist with the regular business of the Registrar's office, including but not limited to, enrollment verification, add/drop course processing, preparing for and assisting with commencement, fulfilling information requests, transcript processing, transcript articulation, degree audits, course substitutions, and degree modifications.
    • Backup for Administrative Assistant and VA Certifying Official.
    • Assists with special projects as assigned by the Registrar or Assistant Registrar.
    • Other duties as assigned.

      Qualifications:
      Bachelors degree required.
      Excellent communication, interpersonal, customer service, computer, and organizational skills
      Ability to work both independently and collaboratively and use a creative, solutions-oriented approach to address problems through teamwork
      Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects
      Analytical and strategic thinking skills
      Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
      Ability to perform detail-oriented work accurately and in a timely manner
      Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
      Previous higher education, student-service, and Banner software experience preferred Bachelors degree required
