Job Summary
The School of Social Science and Global Studies at The University of Southern Mississippi invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track, Assistant Professor of Political Science to start August 2024. The position is focused on candidates who conduct research and teaching in the field of Public Law.
We are particularly interested in candidates who can contribute to our introductory American Politics course, as well as those who can teach and expand our current offerings in Public Law (for example in Introduction to Law in American Society, U.S. Constitutional Law, Civil Rights and Civil Liberties, the Judicial Process, and others in the broad area of Public Law).
