We are looking for a Pediatric Dental Office Manager to join our team! To become our dental office manager, we're seeking someone who is both collaborative and personable. You will handle employee schedules, supplies, resources, customer service control, and compliance. It should come naturally to you to provide direction, and motivate the team. Our ideal candidate will have previous dental office management experience, with outstanding interpersonal skills and attention to detail.

Dentistry for Children is a privately owned pediatric dental practice with 3 locations in the East Texas area and have provided quality dental care with a personal touch to children for more than 40 years! Our services include comprehensive, preventive and restorative dentistry, as well as in-office and hospital sedation in Tyler, Jacksonville and Longview, Texas.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for administering the day-to-day activities of the business office, including: patient and employee relations; ensuring regulatory compliance; and ensuring efficiency and productivity.
• Manage patient financial accounts, including: insurance verification, ledger balances, claims, and ledger audits.
• Staff management, including: staff performance, training and motivation.
• Assist the Practice with other tasks as assigned.

Education/Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
• Previous dental management experience
• Exceptional knowledge of dental terminology and processes
• Working knowledge of dental insurance, insurance claims processing and records management
• Experience with Texas Medicaid

• Ability to communicate all concerns to the dentist
