Job Summary:
We are seeking an Associate Dentist to join our dental practice at White Pine Dentistry. The ideal candidate will provide quality dental care to our patients and work collaboratively with our team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
Duties:
- Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canals, and crowns
- Conduct routine dental examinations and provide treatment plans
- Educate patients on oral health care and preventive measures
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate with the dental team to deliver comprehensive patient care
Requirements:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
- Active Maine state dental license in good standing
- Proficiency in dental procedures and techniques
- Knowledge of medical terminology, vital signs, and patient assessment
- Understanding of oral anatomy and treatment planning
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
