Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Asst. Professor - Economics typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and contributes to research In a specialized field.     We are looking for a candidate with:
    Education: Bachelor’s Degree Math, Statistics, Data Science, Actuarial, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, Accounting, or related field; or equivalent work experience (Two years’ relevant work experience is equivalent to one-year college)
    What a day would look like:
    • Examine and identify data patterns and trends to help answer business questions and improve decision making.
    • Perform analytic research, experience studies, and statistical analyses and calculations.
    • Research and apply knowledge of existing and emerging statistical and data science principles, theories, and techniques.
    • Presenting and explaining analysis to varied internal and external customers, including senior leadership and physician groups.
    • Make proficient use of spreadsheets (Excel), programming languages (SQL, R, Python, etc.), and other relevant software to capture and manipulate data and complete modeling tasks.
    • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
