Reporting to the Superintendent of Schools, the Executive School Director would support overall campus transformation through their support of the leadership of multiple leaders at a 6-12 campus.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Inspirational Leadership
      • Oversee the development and implementation of a school-wide transformation plan.
      • Facilitate group understanding and communication of Envision's Graduate Profile competencies and core values of Team, High Expectations, Equity, Learning, and Persistence.
    • School Culture and Morale
      • Lead organizational morale through fostering collegiality, team building, transparent communication, recognition, celebration, and restoration.
      • Work with other administrators, faculty and students to refine a student discipline management system, code of conduct, and handbook that results in positive student behavior and enhances the school climate.
      • Develop and implement structures with the school team that ensures a rigorous and joyful school culture
    • Instructional Leadership
      • Ensure the highest expectations for student learning and achievement in every classroom, every day. 
      • Provide instructional leadership through consultation with campus administrative and instructional lead teams regarding planning, operation, supervision, and evaluation of campus education program.
      • Oversee the implementation and interpretation of data systems that support instruction and assessment.
      • Work with campus-level planning and decision-making committees to plan professional development activities and work with them to develop and accomplish improvement goals.
    • Personnel Support and Management
      • Motivate, supervise, train, and evaluate the administrative team.
      • Coach and support campus leaders to interview, select, onboard, train, and support staff including retention and progressive discipline processes.
    • Operations & Community Relations
      • Support campus administration and district finance team with the implementation of the campus budget while maintaining fiscal control and accurate reporting.
      • Support campus administration and district operations teams with improvement and maintenance of school facilities to ensure a clean, orderly, and safe campus.
      • Demonstrate awareness of school and community needs and use appropriate and effective techniques to encourage community and parent involvement.
     

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Current Cleared California Administrative Services credential or equivalent
    • Bachelor's Degree, Preferred: Master’s Degree in Education Administration or M.Ed.
    • 5 years teaching experience
    • 5 years of school leadership experience with a track record of transformational results
    • Demonstrated experience affecting positive organizational change with the ability to motivate and connect with a diverse community. (DEI Leadership; and Community Schools Model Leadership preferred)
    • Bilingual Spanish speakers preferred. 
    • Receptiveness to feedback and desire to continuously improve to meet outcomes.

    Compensation and Benefits:

    Commensurate with experience and credentials. The starting range for this role is between $140,000-$165,000 and includes the following benefits:
