Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and contributes to research In a specialized field. Courses could include physical education topics/pedagogy, special populations, kinesiology, physical activity, exercise science or other departmental courses based on applicant’s educational and teaching background.The incumbent is further expected to pursue scholarly activities and serve at the University, local, state, regional, and national levels.Summer teaching is optional, based on personal interests and departmental needs.
