Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Asst. Professor - Electrical Engineering typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and contributes to research In a specialized field. Tends special-purpose and CNC/NC machines and machining centers that cut, shape or form metal product pieces. Maintains production levels consistent with the standard in the routing.
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints.
- Locate product features and associated tolerances on the drawing.
- Understand the tolerance zones associated with the gages provided.
- Basic understanding of technical drawings
