    Job Description

    The selected candidate will perform Performs Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) for Cargo/Weapons Elevators, Aircraft Elevators, Deck Edge Doors, Hanger Bay Divisional Doors, Vertical Package Conveyors and other assigned equipment as directed. This position is located in Norfolk, VA.


    • This role is contingent upon being awarded the contract.

    Essential Job Responsibilities

    • Performs Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) for Cargo/Weapons Elevators, Aircraft Elevators, Deck Edge Doors, Hanger Bay Divisional Doors, Vertical Package Conveyors and other assigned equipment as directed.
    • Candidate will also be responsible for producing material readiness assessment reports as defined by the Joint Fleet Maintenance Manual (JFMM), Vol. IV, Chapter 8.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years additional education and/or related experience.
    • Must be familiar with elevator, door, and conveyor terminologies and configurations.
    • Must be a U.S. citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security clearance.
    • Must have recent experience (within two years) maintaining and operating US Navy Auxiliary equipment.
    • Demonstrated working knowledge of Navy assessment programs, ship visit procedures, and post-visit reporting methods.
    • Must have experience with multiple platforms for supporting fleet logistics. This includes, but is not limited to: FTS, TAR, OneTouch, Defense Travel System (DTS), Navy Data Environment (NDE), Maintenance Figure of Merit (MFOM), Naval Sea Logistics Center (NSLC), Validation, Screening, and Brokering (VSB).
    • Must have the ability to review, update, and close assigned jobs in the prescribed government database.

    Preferred Requirements

    • A current, valid DoD security clearance.

    Physical Requirements

    Minimal mobility, dexterity, or coordination required to operate common business machines. Maximum lifting required is approximately 40 pounds from floor to three feet in height.
