Description
- Permanent position for an Electrical Engineer to design electrical and controls systems for industrial equipment.
- Design, detail and integrate electrical components and systems to ensure safe and cost effective equipment solutions.
- Collaborates and communicates with peers and others in organization in a timely and professional fashion.
- Interface with customers and suppliers.
- Design power distribution units.
- Design PLC based control systems.
- Find alternatives for component obsolescence.
- Perform prototype assembly and testing of subassembly designs.
- Write test procedures.
- Update and maintain company documentation for all electrical schematics, cable drawings, run charts and electrical subassemblies.
- Work with production to resolve assembly and troubleshooting items.
Requirements
- BS Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 2 years of experience with electrical and controls design.
- Proficient with CAD software.
- Knowledge of electrical agency compliance codes, including NEC, NFPA, UL CE.
