Job Description:
MEI has a job opportunity to design/draft electrical engineering construction plans for data centers and other high-profile commercial construction projects. Prior experience with electrical drafting work is preferred but will also consider mechanical, plumbing, structural or architectural backgrounds. MEI is committed to providing opportunities for professional development and growth.
Job Duties
· Develop, draft, and publish electrical construction documents.
· Perform drafting work under the direction of project managers and engineers.
· Ensure jobs are completed accurately and within deadlines.
· Create and maintain company AutoCAD standards and details.
Qualifications
· Work experience as an electrical designer/drafter; minimum four (4) years preferred
· Ability to work in a team environment with Project Managers, Engineers and Designers.
· Must thrive in a fast-paced environment, be motivated by deadlines, and possess the ability to multi-task.
· Proficiency with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office products, especially excel.
· Revit experience a plus.
· Communication skills both written and verbal are required.
· Knowledge of the principles within engineering and construction field preferred.
