Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate English as a Second Language (ESL) Teacher to join our team. As an ESL Teacher, you will be responsible for providing high-quality English language instruction to adult learners. Duties:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that focus on improving students' speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in English
- Utilize instructional design principles to create effective learning experiences
- Incorporate learning technology and utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) to enhance instruction
- Assess students' language proficiency levels and provide constructive feedback on their progress
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and collaboration among students
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse needs of adult learners
- Provide individualized instruction and support to students who require additional assistance
- Foster a positive learning atmosphere that promotes cultural understanding and appreciation
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop curriculum materials and resources
- Provide teacher coaching and support to colleagues as needed

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, TESOL, or a related field
- Certification in TESOL or ESL teaching preferred
- Experience working with adult learners in an educational setting
- Strong knowledge of literacy education principles and best practices for teaching English as a second language
- Proficiency in lesson planning and instructional design
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and learning technology tools
- Bilingual proficiency is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Instructional Schedule ]

Monday "1"hour online 8pm -9pm

Tuesday and Thursday 7:50 pm-9:50 pm "On campus"

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $24.95 per hour

Expected hours: 5 per week
