Montrose School seeks an experienced teacher of English to join our professional learning community beginning August 2024. A successful candidate will be passionate about the study of literature and the ideas that animate authors' works and dedicated to developing the writing process in adolescents, be committed to supporting student learning and building core reading and critical thinking skills in an actively engaged classroom environment.  Speech and Debate experience a plus. We seek teachers who are committed to collaborating, reflecting and growing in their teaching practice. Strong applicants will have an advanced degree, at least three years of classroom experience.
