Internship Term: Summer 2024

Rivian internships are experiences optimized for student candidates.To be eligible, you must be an undergraduate or graduate student in an accredited program during the internship term with an expected graduation date between Fall 2024 and 2027.

• Employ statistical analysis and predictive modeling techniques to anticipate operational outcomes and pinpoint areas for optimization.
• Develop, deploy, and maintain data automation tools and scripts to enhance the efficiency of data collection and analysis workflows.
• Design and implement dashboards and reporting tools to inform business decisions across cross-functional teams, ensuring insights and recommendations are accessible and actionable.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to pinpoint data requirements and address operational hurdles.
• Draft and maintain comprehensive documentation outlining best practices for data management and analytical procedures within the industrial engineering landscape

• Must be currently pursuing a bachelors or masters degree at an accredited university
• Actively pursuing a degree or one closely related in Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, Mechanical Engineering or similar
• Experience with extracting and transforming load procedures is preferred.
• Experience with SQL-based query construction preferred.
• Ability to leverage data gathering, analytical, and problem-solving expertise, required.
• Experience in creating reporting and large data sets.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Power BI and/or Tableau.
• Ability to apply critical thinking to various problems.

Salary Range/Hourly Rate for Internships: The range of pay for internships is 25.00-51.00 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on location, and other factors permitted by law.

Rivian provides robust wellness benefits, and a medical insurance package for interns, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Rivian covers most of the premiums.
