Being an Asst. Professor - Law provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Asst. Professor - Law typically reports to a department head. Candidates must have at least one to two years experience in family law and some litigation experience preferred. Must be licensed to practice law in the State of Florida and in good standing. Compensation is determined by a base salary plus commission for clients retained. This is not an entry level position, however, newly licensed attorneys may apply if they have some family law experience. Must be able to work independently and with a team. Experience with Clio preferred, but not required.
After 90 day probationary period, the Firm will pay 100% of all bar dues, CLE fees, travel expenses for CLE’s, marketing, and overhead.
