Assistant City Prosecutor
City of Lima, Ohio searching for full-time Assistant City Prosecutor for Municipal Court. No outside practice of law permitted. Typical prosecution duties: Negotiating cases and plea agreements; Conducting bench and jury trials; Preparing and presenting motions, pleadings, and arguments in court and for appeals; Interviewing witnesses, Police Officers, victims, and others. Criminal Trial experience preferred but not necessary. Will consider newly admitted attorneys. Functional knowledge of Lexis and Microsoft Office programs required.
