Asst. Professor - Law teaches courses in the discipline area of law. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being an Asst. Professor - Law provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Asst. Professor - Law typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and contributes to research In a specialized field. Assistant City Prosecutor
City of Lima, Ohio searching for full-time Assistant City Prosecutor for Municipal Court. No outside practice of law permitted. Typical prosecution duties: Negotiating cases and plea agreements; Conducting bench and jury trials; Preparing and presenting motions, pleadings, and arguments in court and for appeals; Interviewing witnesses, Police Officers, victims, and others. Criminal Trial experience preferred but not necessary. Will consider newly admitted attorneys. Functional knowledge of Lexis and Microsoft Office programs required.
