    Duties include but are not limited to:

    • Trouble shooting and maintaining Remote Patient Monitor- Home Telehealth equipment, assisting with enrollment and disenrollment and tracking non-responders. The program assistant documents Home Telehealth activities as appropriate. Other administrative responsibilities include data entry, telephone answering, set up and assist with VVC appts, tracking supply processing, primary data pulls and miscellaneous reports.
    • Schedules for Clinical Video Telehealth Services, Store and Forward consultation and other Telehealth clinics as assigned.
    • Work requires an in-depth understanding of the mission and how the functional areas interrelate along with a broad understanding and procedural knowledge of personnel and information processing so that the employee can perform duties and advise on how to apply processing procedures.
    • Independently prepares correspondence, memoranda, station memoranda, internal policies, protocols, and standard operating policies in a final format in accordance with applicable regulations and guidance.
    • Maintains the Master Calendar for all conference and group room activities.
    • Should keep staff aware of records management requirements.
    • Assists telehealth leadership with quality management and quality improvement initiatives.
    • Reviews medical records and runs reports from Power BI report Server and other data sources to track service performance measures and QM indicators as directed.
    • Works directly with Telehealth Leadership and other program support staff to assure ongoing progress with performance improvement efforts and documentation of efforts including monitoring reporting as well as maintenance of comparable levels of care throughout the facility.

    Physical Requirements: The incumbent must have the ability to complete all 12 hours of PMDB training to have a full understanding of the techniques and methods involved, to actively train staff in all parts of PMDB as needed. This will require physical effort, standing, walking, bending, sitting, and hands on therapeutic containment activity with patients or employees during demonstrations of the techniques. The Telehealth PSA maintains an active Basic Life Support Certification.

    There is no educational substitution for the GS-06 level.
