Asst. Professor - Legal Support jobs in Scranton, PA

• Work with clients and attorneys to complete the estate administration process, including probating estates, preparing legal documents for attorney review, gathering the decedent’s asset information, preparing the Pennsylvania inheritance tax return, and communicating with the Department of Public Welfare, all following the firm’s procedures
• Prepare and proofread correspondence
• Perform general operational tasks including but not limited to answering the phone and forwarding messages, copying, scanning, mailings, and postage, assisting drop-in clients, filing paperwork, handling voice mail messages, etc., all according to firm policies and procedures
• Preparing invoices accurately
• Maintaining confidentiality of all client and personnel matters pursuant to the firm’s confidentiality policy
• Other tasks, as requested by the supervisor

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Display excellent written, problem-solving, and verbal communication skills
• History of being deadline-driven and extremely organized
• At least 1 year experience in an administrative or other related position
