Asst. Professor - Medical Administration teaches courses in the discipline area of health and medical administration. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being an Asst. Professor - Medical Administration provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Asst. Professor - Medical Administration typically reports to a department head. Physical Requirements
Required to sit on a typical desk chair with the ability to sit for an extended period; ability to bend and reach as needed to access materials for the job. Must be able to safely lift up to 30 pounds without assistance. Ability to dial telephone numbers; hearing acuity in order to engage in telephone conversations; visual skills acceptable for providing supervision of the facility, the clients and the visitors if needed; ability to hold and write with a pen and pencil; ability to speak clearly on the phone and to people in person; ability to walk on various terrains, such as hard floors, concrete, grass, dirt and carpet.
Method of Pay: Hourly, NON-Exempt
Hours Per Week: FT30 9am – 3:30pm
Supervised By: Executive Director & Development Associate
Salary: $22 - 24/hr.
