Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being an Asst. Professor - Medicine provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Asst. Professor - Medicine typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and contributes to research In a specialized field. POSITION SUMMARY :
Provides complete and accurate patient scheduling, registration, insurance verification, ordering of tests and coordination of applicable screening, diagnostic, physician office and outpatient hospital services.
Capable of coordinating and communicating effectively during increased volumes or with complex patients.
HOURS : Full Time (40 hours / week) Requires 1 evening shift per week and Saturday morning rotation. Office hours are Monday-Thursday 8 am to 8 pm, Friday 8 am to 4 : 30 pm, & Saturday 8 am to Noon
LOCATION : Family Medicine East Pete-East Petersburg, PA

Understands the importance of patients medical information that is documented on paper. Sends all pertinent information to document imaging or heath information management team with in the established time frames.

Nasal swabbing and general specimen collection may be required in select departments.
