The Department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at NYU Langone Health seeks candidates for an Assistant or Associate Professor position.
The successful applicant will have experience in the field of general Otolaryngology with a focus on the medical and surgical treatment of obstructive sleep apnea.Expertise in cranial facial surgery, for sleep apnea is particularly sought. The ability to read polysomnography studies is helpful, but not required.
Responsibilities include surgical and clinical care of obstructive sleep apnea patients as well as teaching and supervising medical students and residents in an academic clinical and surgical setting. An emphasis should be placed on translational or clinically focused research and development of a multidisciplinary center for the comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders.
