The Hospital Medicine Division at the University of Toledo is extremely active in all aspects of inpatient
care within the University of Toledo Medical Center. The successful applicant will provide direct patient
care; instruct medical students in the discipline of Hospital Medicine; participate in conferences and
develop and conduct scholarly endeavors.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• MD or equivalent required
• Successful completion of an Internal Medicine residency
• Board certified or board eligible by the American Board of Internal Medicine
• Current licensure in the State of Ohio required, prior to beginning the position
Communication and other skills:
• Ability to successfully teach and mentor medical students, residents and fellows.
• Experience in collaborating with specialists to explore patient health conditions and diagnose
health issues.
• Experience in working as a team of healthcare professionals and collaborating with them to
ensure positive, effective patient experiences with our organization.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
This position works in a professional clinical and academic office setting.
