Being an Asst. Professor - Music provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Asst. Professor - Music typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and contributes to research In a specialized field. - Candidate with prior experience teaching private lessons
- Must be friendly, outgoing, and enthusiastic about teaching- especially children!
- Minimum 1-year commitment
- Pass a federal Background Check
What will you be doing here?
- Teaching private lessons to students of all ages and abilities.
- Preparing students for performances and recitals
- Attend two recitals held each year
