The Nursing Unit Secretary is responsible for managing clerical functions, coordinates with departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to maintain a unit that is hygienically safe and functional. Maintain close contact with Admissions, Discharge Planner and RN Unit Manager/LPN Charge Nurse with regard to admissions, transfers, discharges and other services for a fast paced 40-bed unit. Computer skills, strong organization skills and attention to detail required.
