TERMS: This position is a 191 day position with full family benefits, paid holidays, paid sick and personal time. State retirement system through the Office of Retirement Services, Pension Plus or Defined Contribution.
SALARY RANGE: $19.202908 - $25.2865 (Step 1-9 per the CTC Paraprofessional Scale), dependent on experience and education.
GENERAL JOB FUNCTION: Career Tech Center paraprofessionals work under the supervision of, and at the discretion of, classroom instructors to provide a range of assistive functions within the secondary learning environment.

NOTABLE PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Certain paraprofessional positions require passing a MAISD-paid physical examination and/or back x-ray, before an unconditional offer of employment can be made.
TYPICAL WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Most work is performed in a classroom or laboratory environment. Some may be performed at a community work site. Work may be performed in any CTC classroom or lab and may also occur at various locations within the community.
EVALUATION:
CTC Paraprofessionals are evaluated according to current Board policy.
TRAVEL/OVERTIME EXPECTATIONS:
Overtime would be rare and only at the discretion of the MAISD. Some local travel may be expected.
PAY STRUCTURE:
This position is on Grade H of the MAISD salary scales.
