Job Summary

The Physical Therapy Technician is responsible for providing physical therapy services to patients under the direction of a physical therapist. The technician will assist in the evaluation, treatment, and management of patients with physical impairments. The technician will also provide patient education and support to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in patient treatment and care
• Provide patient education and support with exercises and treatment
• Juggle multiple patient protocols at once
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families
• Assist in the maintenance of the physical therapy facility
• Clinic upkeep: laundry, vacuuming, trash removal, stock supplies as needed
• Perform administrative tasks as needed, such as answering phone calls and printing patient schedules
• Follow safety protocols

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a physical therapy setting preferred
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift and move patients as needed
• Self-motivation

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
