- Assist physical therapists in providing patient care and treatment
- Prepare treatment areas and equipment for therapy sessions
- Escort patients to and from therapy sessions
- Monitor and record patient progress during therapy sessions
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records
- Clean and maintain therapy equipment and treatment areas```Experience```
- Previous experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Familiarity with acute care procedures and protocols
- Strong patient service skills and ability to provide compassionate careAs a Physical Therapy Aide, you will play a vital role in supporting the physical therapists in delivering high-quality care to patients. You will assist with various tasks to ensure smooth therapy sessions and provide exceptional patient service.
To excel in this role, you should have a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology. Experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting is preferred, as well as familiarity with acute care procedures. Additionally, excellent patient service skills are essential to provide compassionate care to patients.
