Asst. Professor - Physics teaches courses in the discipline area of physics. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being an Asst. Professor - Physics provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Asst. Professor - Physics typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and contributes to research In a specialized field. Position Description:
Responsible for loading horses into the starting gates prior to races. Assist with scheduling and supervising the schooling of horses.
Job Functions
- Load horses into the starting gates.
- Assist with scheduling & supervising of schooling of horses.
- Assist with listing of horses that are unruly in the starting gates; help to ensure they are schooled before they race again.
Position Requirements:
Job Specifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Prior experience in a similar position preferred.
- Must be a skilled horse handler.
- Must be able to work with horsemen and give directions.
- Must have excellent communication skills.
- Must be physically agile and able to stand and walk, climb, reach, lift, bend, and work outside in various weather conditions.
- Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.
