JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for providing engaging and effective instruction and academic advising to undergraduate and graduate students. Working collaboratively with other faculty and the Dean of Arts and Sciences, the Assistant Professor of Psychology will engage with assessment to ensure excellent pedagogy and curriculum improvements within the discipline and potentially contributing to the Liberal Arts core program, promoting student achievement and academic integrity. The area of specialization is open. However, the ideal candidate will be able to teach graduate courses such as Research Methods in Psychology, Advanced Statistics, Advanced Social Psychology, or Child and Adolescent Development. In the undergraduate curriculum, the Assistant Professor of Psychology may teach a variety of courses including Statistics in the Social Sciences, Ethics in Psychology, Research Design and Analysis, and Gender & Sexuality. REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Earned Doctorate preferred. Master’s Degree required. ABDs will be considered.
